TD Mop at the White Marlin Open: Dockside at Sunset Marina

We headed up to Ocean City, MD for the notorious White Marlin Open – the Super Bowl of sportfishing 🎣 – and this year, TD Mop was right in the middle of the action. Partnering with Sunset Marina and Sunset Provisions, we hosted a dockside pop-up to celebrate the biggest billfish tournament in the world and the incredible community that surrounds it. We had TD Mops from 4 to 8 feet, our brand new carbon fiber handles - Palm Beach Reach, our boat soap - Frolic, and so much more. Sunset Provisions carries both our standard and our original chamois material.

From sunrise rigging sessions to late-night weigh-ins, the docks were buzzing with the excitement of the tournament. We loved meeting so many new faces, reconnecting with friends we hadn’t seen in a while, and seeing TD Mop in full-force action on boats up and down the marina. There’s nothing quite like spotting a clean, glistening sportfisher knowing our mops helped make it happen.

One of the highlights for us was handing out TD Mop t-shirts to the captains and mates we spotted putting our gear to work. And there were a lot. It was proof that when it comes to tournament prep and post-fish cleanup, the pros choose TD Mop.

The White Marlin Open is a true reunion of the sportfishing world, a place where skill, camaraderie, and tradition come together. Being part of it with our friends at Sunset Marina was an honor – and we’re already counting down the days until next year.
